He spent 14 years as Vice President at a commercial insurance agency, specializing in oil and gas accounts with revenues over $10 million. He later co-founded a power generation company using stranded natural gas and served as COO of a public water reclamation and civil construction firm, scaling it to 200 employees and $24 million in revenue. Maddox also founded Clarity Power Solutions, which merged with Global Power Solutions, where he now focuses on growing its leadership in solar inverter and battery services.

Earlier in his career, Ernest held key roles at US Well Services, HOLT CAT, and KACO New Energy, with a focus on operations and expense management. He began as an Electronics Technician III at Schlumberger, building his technical foundation. His leadership and commitment to innovation continue to drive success in the energy sector.
